You have to delete the old files of 0.5 before copying the new ones in (also delete kit files of other patches you may use)

how many PES2009_EDIT01.bin files do i have exactly and is it simply just placed in a "save" folder which i have made in the PES2009 main folder?
for weeks i have been figuring out how to make the kits work (everything else is working eg emblems, balls, team names...) i have also updated the kitserver removed and installed each time... thanks. hoping to resolve this soon before pes2010 comes out!

Rename your PES2009_EDIT01.bin then use the Relink Tool 1.0a (google it) to open up the PES2009_EDIT01.bin you got with the 0.60.
While the Relink Tool is open, rename your own PES2009_EDIT01.bin and then click on save in the Relink tool.
Note: Both new and old PES2009_EDIT01.bin files have to be in the same folder.

Help from anyone!!!I downloaded severall files in this site, and im havin the same problen over and over,I copied the kitserver file in PES2009 folder, installed it with the setup.exe, copied the OF in my PES2009 folder in my docs (no prob with that, logos, transfers are OK), but the kits apear all in black. Also when I start the game, it says an error occured starting the application becuuse d3dx9_27.dll couldnt be found.

thanks for your reply gana but the problem is i have deleted my orignal PES2009_EDIT01.bin file and i dont remember where i found it! (it certainly werent in "save" folder which does not exist as an original one) anyone know where the orig PES2009_EDIT01.bin should be? please help before i move on to my last resort: fifa!
Rename the PES2009_EDIT01.bin to something else temporarily then rename it back when the relink tool is open.
To last reply: the original file should be in your 'My Documents' under the folder 'KONAMI'
THANKS GANA!!! the problem was the damn PES2009_EDIT01.bin file is in my documents/konami! ive been messing with the PES2009 folder all along. plus u dont need to use the relink tool at all just simply rename the orignal (as backups) and paste the new bin files in it. THANKS

But when I want to rename back my own PES2009_EDIT01.bin file to the first name, I get a question that says that "there´s already a file with this name do you want to rename it to PES2009_EDIT01.bin(2) instead?"
