E.V.O.L.U.T.I.O.N. Patch II released!

*Update v1 for EVOLUTION PATCH II*

The patch comes with the following improvements:

Completely new over-worked Optionfile with all transfers and new teams. About 90% of the stats revised
100% original Teams
100% original Names
100% original Kits
complete Bundesliga (German League)
correct League and Cup names
correct Stadium names
new Soundtrack
new chants for many Teams
Teams without own unique chants have adequate generic chants
new Callnames
new Balls
up-to-date Bootpack
new Faces for many Superstars
new Menus
misc. new graphics (countries, positions icons etc.)
fan reactions (German Version only)
fan banners

OF / Player Attributes

We did our best to give you a complete OF with accurate player attributes. However, we of course cannot guarantee flawlessness. Respecting player attributes, opinions sometimes even differ widely. This said, there are two possibilites for you to cope with "false" player attributes, 1. you can better them on your own, 2. you refrain from using the OF, or the patch itself, respectively.

Pat said...: in every part are parts of same files. xou have to download all, then you must extract the first part, 2nd, 3rd and so on will be autmaticly extracted, too.
but you need all parts before you can extract the first one, otherwise you will get an error message like partxx is missing.; February 27, 2008 6:44 AM

9-Ball said...: Just wanting to check I did this correctly, and I don't find a forum for it.

I imported the cs.img, cv_0.img and cv_1.img files as per the AFS explorer instructions. All seems fine. I then copied the PES2008_EDIT01.bin and PES2008_FACE01.bin files to my Option File Directory, i.e. MyDocs/Konami/PES2008/save - I was a bit surprised to not see an actual Option File? The game runs without issues and the patch seems to be installed properly, but to check on a couple of things:

1. The list of extra/bonus players still all have fictional names - is this intentional or not? Seems a significant omission?

2. I installed the Kitserver folder to .../Program Files/Konami/PES2008/ folder, so the actual kitserver folder is visible at the same level as the PES2008.exe... is this correct?

3. More of a side question than directly on topic but, what's the best player/stats editor for PES2008?

4. Finally, I have a hugely edited PES2006 option file and so on, with all up to date rosters/revised stats and around 400 historical players added in - is there a process by which I can import this reliably into PES2008 and retain that data? I don't want to spend weeks recreating it.

starts game 3 bars, during games 1 red bar... not fair play, lag issues that guys use it, not fair...

Help make the list so that we avvoid ppl who cheat... is not just lag, they use it...

My nickname is nOOberMaN... and i am clean. I was dirt too, one -2 games, but i give up. I want to play football, not ping pong.

HOW TO CHEAT !

Open utorrent or anything file sharing downloader and start downloading something. Then put PAUSE. Start playing game. When u have the ball unpause the utorrent. And the other cant move and u go on goal. This is it !

Why told this, and why in patches?

BECAUSE PES IS A GREAT GAME BUT ARE TO MANY WITH LAG CONNECTION THAT RUIN THIS GAME. AND IS REAL because I try to do the same when somebody do it to me. Cheating for points is not fun. I FOUND MANY DOING THAT. AND I TELL U IS NOT JUST POOR CONNECTION, LOW RESOLUTION IS LAG MADE ON PURPOSE.

- KONAMI - remove alt tab funcion of this game.
- No patch for months? Why?
- PES 2009 will be the same? NO thanks, i will not buy it this time because i bet it will be the same sh*t...
